6 weeks and counting...

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! Our friends Kris and Beth were here to visit and we had a lot of fun spending time with them. It was a pretty low-key weekend with beach time, mini golf, lots of food & movies, and of course, good company :) Honey found a new friend in Kris too!

It's hard to believe that there are only 6 weeks left until Lily's due date!! Mark and I are getting really anxious to meet her. She's still growing a ton and is very active. She's close to 5 lbs. now and about 18 inches long. Here is my belly shot at 34 weeks... I think I'm afraid to see what this will look like in another 6 weeks! Make sure you all enter your guesses in the pool! So far, everyone is betting on a BIG baby ;)

Mark and I are headed to Charleston this weekend for some work and play. Mark has some meetings for work, so I'm going to tag along and hang out :) We're really excited to go explore a new city! It's supposed to be beautiful and have some great sightseeing (and shopping!). Hopefully we'll have some nice pictures to share when we get back. I have the feeling that this may be our last trip until after Lily arrives!!

I also wanted to congratulate our friends Christa and RB, who are expecting a little boy in October! We're looking forward to meeting their new addition :)

Make your guess!

Since we only have 7 weeks to go until Lily's due date, I thought it would be fun to see when people think she's going to arrive. Please click on the link above to enter your guess for her birth date, height, weight and time of arrival. We would love to see as many guesses as possible from friends and family!!! I included some of my (and Mark's) birth stats on the welcome message for the pool to help with starting points for those of you who weren't there for those events ;) After she's born, we'll see who came the closest... Maybe there will even be a prize involved :)

Good luck!

P.S. Lily is the size/weight of a pineapple this week :)

Wilmington Baby Shower

My friends here were sweet enough to throw me a second baby shower last weekend in Wilmington, and it was absolutely adorable. Jill & Noelle hosted the party at their house, and they did an amazing job setting everything up. We had a beautiful day and got the chance to eat and talk outside. The food was delicious, the company was great, and the setting was so cute!! They even hung baby clothes on their clothes line :) Again, we received wonderful gifts for Lily that will get lots of use once she arrives! Thank you to everyone who was there!!!

New Belly Shot

Since I posted the baby shower pictures, I've been scolded for not posting a belly picture! This is not the best picture of me, but here you go :) This one was taken last week at 30 weeks, and just to show you how much Lily has grown, I'm re-posting the 20 week picture too. Hopefully she'll slow down a little bit for the next 10 weeks, otherwise I'm in trouble!
Right now, Lily is about 3 1/2 pounds and 16 inches long according to the averages. Since her little legs were long at our ultrasound 12 weeks ago, she may be a little taller,
and judging by the size of my stomach, a little heavier :) Here is the link to this week's update: http://www.babycenter.com/6_your-pregnancy-31-weeks_1120.bc

I'll update later this week with pictures from my second shower here in Wilmington last weekend. It was great and I have wonderful friends :)

Baby Shower

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone for your thoughtfulness and generosity!!!!! Lily is a very lucky little girl.

Sorry for the delay in getting these pictures posted - the week has flown by! Mark and I had a great weekend at home in Rochester for Lily's baby shower. The weather was even nice, believe it or not!! Thank you to everyone who was able to make the trip, and we really missed those of you who weren't able to be there. My mom and sister did a great job putting everything together, and Mark's aunt, Candi, made the most adorable flower arrangements I've ever seen :) It was really great to see all of our family and friends, and we really enjoyed spending time with our niece, Kayla and nephew, Parker.

In addition to being lucky, I think Lily is going to be a big "little" girl - I swear sometimes that my stomach is growing by the hour :) I'm 30 weeks pregnant this week, so only 10 more weeks to go until my due date! I am still feeling really good, so hopefully that will continue. Everyone tells me to "just wait" when I say that though, so I guess I'll start to get uncomfortable soon...
