7 month update

As always, I'm a little behind on the blog. Life is crazy as usual, but Lily and I were on our own for a few weeks while Mark was on an extended business trip in Asia, so time was a little tighter than normal over the last month or so. While Mark was away, poor Lily had her first cold which also resulted in her first ear infection :( After some antibiotics (and cuddling), she is back to her old self now, happy as ever!! We are both glad to have Mark back as well :)

Lily is now 17 pounds and growing like a weed! Her six month clothes fit perfectly in the waist, but the pants are all getting too short, and the 9 month clothes are the right length, but too big in the waist. She has become quite the speed crawler over the last 6 weeks since she learned how to crawl and there is no stopping her! She is so quick and has no fear of anything. She is also pulling up on the furniture and will be cruising (walking along the furniture) any day now... I have a feeling she is going to be an early walker like her daddy!

She's eating 3 meals of solid food every day now (rice cereal and fruit or veggies), and she LOVES everything we feed her. She lets you know if you're not getting it to her fast enough too! She also got her first "puffs" yesterday. (For those of you who don't know what they are - think cereal with lots of extra air in them. They basically melt when you put them in your mouth.) She is still figuring out how to keep them in her mouth, but loving them nonetheless. Check out the video!

We are enjoying every minute with Lily and can't believe how fast she's growing and changing. We're looking forward to seeing all of you who plan to visit this summer!
